I have just returned from studying in Australia, and my degree needs to be certified. What should I do? I come from Shanghai.

Shanghai's foreign academic certification process is as follows:

First, register and pay fees in the application system for academic degree certification of foreign countries (territories) in the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education.

Secondly, choose the location of degree certification. There are two places in Shanghai:

1) Shanghai Education International Exchange Association

2) Shanghai Service Center for Returned Overseas Students

Second, prepare proof materials;

1- A two-inch photo (either on a white background or a blue background)

2- Original and photocopy of degree certificate and report card.

3- Translation of degree certificates and transcripts, which explains the need to find a qualified translation company (Boya Translation, located diagonally across the road from the registration point of Shanghai Service Center for Returned Overseas Students, to provide professional translation services with foreign academic qualifications. You can take subway lines 2, 12 and 13 at the entrance of Hanzhong Road subway station. )

4- The original and photocopy of the passport, the first and last pages of the passport and all visa pages during the study abroad need to be copied, and visas for visiting other countries during the period also need to be copied.

5- Authorization Statement

Remember to fill in all by yourself, fill in the Chinese name at the top, and leave it blank for the staff. Don't change any word of the template without authorization. The pinyin of the English name below is consistent with the passport.

Third, the final preparations have been completed, just bring these materials and submit them, and check the original passports, diplomas and transcripts.
