The second kind is people with dual nationality. Some countries especially allow dual citizenship in order to attract talents and develop their own economy and trade. Some countries even allow people to have multiple nationalities, but China does not recognize this situation. People with other nationalities must give up their original nationality if they want to be naturalized in China.

The third type is China people who have emigrated overseas. In the past few decades, many China people emigrated to other countries, or even gave up their China citizenship, in order to gain better development prospects. China has been advocating the idea of loyalty to the monarch and patriotism since ancient times, and will never be soft on traitors. Therefore, people who give up their China citizenship basically have no chance to apply for China citizenship.
