On the afternoon of April 19, Zhang Deping, vice mayor of the municipal government, inspected and investigated the construction of transportation hub in Muchuan Port Area of Leshan Port. Li, deputy secretary general of the municipal government, Luo, director and deputy director of the Municipal Transportation Bureau, Zhao Xing, director of the Municipal Port and Shipping Center, deputy secretary of Muchuan County Committee, and Yuan, deputy head of the county, participated in the survey.

Zhang Deping and his party visited Luojiaba Tourist Wharf in Chalin Village of Danan Town and the site selection of Luojiaba Operation Area in Leshan Port. Look at the design drawings on the spot, listen to the introduction of project functional planning layout, and learn more about the progress and difficulties of project approval. Zhang Deping requested that relevant departments at the municipal level should strengthen communication and support, cooperate with relevant departments in Muchuan County to further discuss and judge, optimize the design scheme, speed up the preliminary work for the construction of high-grade waterway in Muxi River, push the construction project to start as soon as possible, and strive to complete the waterway construction from Lingang Industrial Park to Longxikou Reservoir before the Longxikou sluice is impounded in 2024. It is understood that the transportation hub construction project in Muchuan Port Area of Leshan Port consists of three parts, namely: the reconstruction project of 26.83 km expressway from Jianban Town to Fuxin Town on S3 10 line, the construction project of tourist passage from Longxikou Reservoir Area of Minjiang River to Lingang Industrial Park 15 km, and the construction project of Luojiaba operation area of Leshan Port.

Muchuan Port Area is an important port area of Leshan Port. After the project is completed, the goods in Muchuan County and Liangshan area will reach the sea faster and promote the high-quality development of the local economy. At present, the project has been included in the key project of the "14 th Five-Year Plan" of Sichuan inland waterway, and the preparatory work is being carried out.
