There are also six island countries, namely the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, East Timor, Indonesia and Malaysia. The Philippines and East Timor are mainly Catholics. Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia are mainly Islam. The aborigines in Indonesia and Malaysia generally believe in Islam, but they do not have an absolute advantage in population. China people generally believe in traditional folk beliefs from the southeast coast of China.
Indian immigrants generally believe in Hinduism, while Singaporeans are mainly Chinese. A large number of traditional folk beliefs have been preserved in the southeast coastal areas of China. Buddhism has a certain influence. Besides, there are some Muslims and Hindus. The Singapore government pursues the policy of freedom of religious belief, but in fact it has strict control over religion. Therefore, no religion has a great influence on the country. Secondly, Hinduism and Buddhism were popular in Southeast Asia in history. But later Hinduism generally refused. Although Buddhism has shrunk, it has basically maintained its superiority in Indian zhina Peninsula. Buddhism in Southeast Asia was mainly spread from Sri Lanka, so it was deeply influenced by Sri Lankan Buddhism. In the first century AD, Buddhism formed two main factions, namely Mahayana Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism.
Sri Lanka is represented by the Fearless Temple and Tampromayor. The Great Temple Sect was later supported by the government and destroyed by force. As a result, a religious model dominated by Sri Lankan Buddhism has been formed in Sri Lanka. The distribution of Buddhism in Southeast Asia is mainly characterized by Indian zhina Peninsula Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism controlled by island countries, which will inevitably lead to the setbacks of Buddhism in island countries. The scale and scope of different practical methods make it different from the customs of specific races in depth. Hinayana Buddhist monks don't produce anything, just beg for a living, pursue their own liberation, and don't emphasize universal beings.
