Where do the real Englishmen come from?

The British have four sources:

The native Celts of the British Isles, including the Scots and Irish today, are all their descendants;

Descendants of British and Roman immigrants;

Descendants of Germans (Angles, Saxons) who invaded the British Isles. Today, southern England is mainly descended from these people.

Descendants of the Vikings who invaded Britain (Norwegian and Danish pirates). Today, many parts of northern England near Scotland are descendants of these people.

If the real British refers to the mainstream source of "modern British", it should be the third kind. Germanic descendants are the mainstream of British descent today.

If you mean "who did Britain belong to first", it should be 1. Scots and Irish were the earliest masters of Britain.
