What are the procedures for working in Russia?

Legal analysis: Working in Russia requires a work visa. The documents required for a work visa are as follows:

1. A valid passport and a copy of the first page of the passport.

2. 1 photo (1 inch or 2 inches is acceptable)

3. Visa application form (all questions in the form should be answered)

4. Original invitation letter issued by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs

5. A copy of the business license of the Russian inviting unit.

6. Labor permit issued by Russian Immigration Bureau and its copy.

7. Valid health certificate and AIDS quarantine report (if staying in Russia for more than 90 days)

8. Original and photocopy of labor training certificate for going abroad.

Legal basis: Article 9 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Exit and Entry Administration. China citizens shall apply for passports or other travel documents when leaving or entering the country.
