Xiangfan is located in the Central Plains, and the accents of counties and cities under its jurisdiction are close to those of Henan dialect, but some of them are different in pronunciation and intonation. Basically, it is no different from Henan, northwest Anhui, especially Lu 'an, and it is also close to Shandong, except that Xiangfan dialect has a heavy pronunciation and a gentle tone, and there is no tone of Shandong dialect.
