First, it is Ryukyu.

Ryukyu Kingdom is a country composed of Ryukyu Islands in the East China Sea, located between Taiwan Province Island in China and Kyushu Island in Japan, with a total area of about 3,600 square kilometers and a population of more than 300,000 at that time. It is China's smallest maritime neighbor. As early as the early Ming Dynasty, after Ryukyu was unified and established as a kingdom, it became a vassal state of China. Since then, Ryukyu has become a part of China's ancient tributary system, and it is also called the most loyal small country with Annan and North Korea.

However, the Qing Dynasty was weak in modern times, and Japan rose, especially after the Meiji Restoration in Japan, and began to invade Ryukyu. 1872, Ryukyu was annexed as a subordinate country of Ryukyu. 1879 was directly annexed, directly changed to prefecture, and became Okinawa prefecture.

Since then, the small countries around China have disappeared, and they have become the first small countries around China to disappear. So is there any hope for the revival of Ryukyu now? Now Japan is not only an economic power, but also the support and help of the United States. The Ryukyu people are basically assimilated, so the hope of restoring the country in the future is slim.

The second is Sikkim.

Sikkim, called Zhemengxiong in ancient times, is also one of China's smallest neighbors. Sikkim has a land area of more than 7,000 square kilometers and a population of more than 600,000, which is the smallest among China's neighbors and the least after World War II. Sikkim has been a vassal state of China since ancient times. Even after World War II, it has always maintained good relations with China and has always respected and yearned for China.

However, Sikkim has a big neighbor, India, which is eyeing its neighbors in South Asia and wants to annex them to its own territory. Therefore, Sikkim was controlled after World War II, and both internal and external affairs were controlled. It was directly annexed in the 1970s. At that time, because of our own reasons, China did not come to the rescue in time, and this country disappeared directly. Now it is Sikkim, India.

So can Sikkim restore the country in the future? This is actually very difficult. After India annexed Sikkim, it gave Sikkim high treatment and specifications, and gave policy support, making Sikkim's living standard one of the highest in India. And more importantly, India immigrated to Sikkim in large numbers, which diluted the local population. Unless India collapses, it will be difficult to regain independence in the future.

Third, the kingdom of Kashmir.

The Kingdom of Kashmir is a neighbor of our country. It has always been the kingdom of Kashmir in ancient times. After Britain occupied South Asia, it became Kashmir, forcibly merged into India and became a part of British India.
