Why did Chechnya become independent from Russia?

Chechens belong to Caucasian race. They originally lived in Ukraine.

It is a mixture of white and Mongolian ancestry.

They converted to Islam.

In the expectation of independence, they cooperated with the Germans during World War II. Stalin was very angry about this and sent the Ministry of Internal Affairs to exile the entire Chechen nation to Siberia. After that, they returned to the Caucasus.

Therefore, the entire Chechen people do not like Russia.
