My husband is from Hong Kong. After we get married, what proof do we need to arrange to settle in Hong Kong?
Some places can be put in as soon as they get married, and some places can't apply until they get married for 3 years. .
You can ask the exit-entry administration office where your account is located, and their answer is king!
The following documents are required to apply for settlement:
Your ID card and household registration book.
2) Your husband's Hong Kong identity card, home visit permit and Hong Kong birth certificate (mainland immigrants need to submit a one-way pass to Hong Kong).
3) Mainland marriage certificate (registered in Hong Kong, you need to submit Hong Kong marriage certificate and notarized marriage certificate! )
4) You can ask your husband for an invitation (many places don't need it now).
I suggest you check with the exit-entry administration, because the requirements in each place are a little different, so call first and then apply.
