Where does the Northeastern refer to?

We usually refer to people from Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning as Northeasters.

Northeast China is a closed terrain, and the Great Wall has isolated the connection between North China and Northeast China to a certain extent, so it is also called "outside the customs". Of course, it is not enough to be closed only on the terrain, but also has a lot to do with the formation of "a family of Northeast people". If you know the modern immigration history of China, you will know that there were three major immigration waves in China, namely, going to Kanto, going to the west and going to Nanyang.

Among them, going to Guandong means that Shandong people go to Guandong in batches, that is, the northeast. It can be said that a large number of people in Northeast China now have ancestors, all of whom came from Shandong that year. Northeasters are Northeasters, and there are others in the Northeast, such as calling people, landing machines and so on. Generally speaking, the nationalities in Northeast China have a greater sense of identity with the concept of "Northeasters" than with their respective provincial administrative regions.

The origin of the word Northeast:

The word "Northeast" originated earlier. In Li Zhouzhi's Fang Family, "the northeast is called Youzhou, and its towns and mountains are called medical witches". The three northeastern provinces are located in the northeast of China. Since ancient times, it has been generally called "Northeast", later it was called "Kanto", and in Qing Dynasty it was also called the three northeastern provinces. In China, the three northeastern provinces of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang are generally called Northeast or Northeast Provinces.

Northeasters, including Han nationality, are often called Northeasters. This is the origin of the word "Northeast". As for the people living in eastern Mongolia, although these four cities do not belong to the northeast administratively, they belong to the northeast ethnic group because of their living customs and cultural identity. Administratively, people living in Liaodong, such as Dalian, Dandong, Yingkou and other cities, belong to the Jiaoliao nationality with the people in Jiaodong Peninsula because of their different living habits.
