How long will it take for marriage immigration and the United States?

It takes about two years from the time you marry an American to get a green card in the United States, and about one and a half years from the time you simply return to the United States to submit an immigration guarantee for your spouse in China. After getting an American green card for marriage, you can't divorce in the first two years, and you can divorce in the third year. If Americans abuse foreign spouses psychologically or physically, they must provide strong evidence to the Immigration Bureau before they can divorce without losing their green cards.
