Can Thailand go to landing visa in 2022?
At the CCSA (Thailand Epidemic Prevention and Control Center) meeting yesterday (August 19), the Cabinet of the Thai Government has approved:
Extend the stay in landing visa to 30 days and visa-free stay to 45 days for 6 months. At the same time, it is considered to cancel the national emergency law since March 2020 from June 65438+ 10.
The approved recommendations include:
Extend the visa-free entry stay period of 56 visa-free countries/regions from no more than 30 days to 45 days;
Extend the stay period of countries/regions that cannot obtain visa-free entry to landing visa from no more than 15 days to 30 days;
The visa extension policy will last from June 2022 10 to March 3, 20231. The next step will be prepared and announced by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The first batch of countries or regions that meet the conditions for visa extension on arrival include:
China, Bulgaria, Bhutan, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan Province Province, China, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu.
