4. Birth notarization of each applicant, valid passport and 2 passport photos of each applicant. (If you don't have a passport, you must provide identification documents, such as a copy of your ID card or household registration book. )

5. Notarization of every applicant 17 years old and above who has no criminal record in China. If you have lived in any country for more than 12 months in the last 10 year, you need to provide a notarization that there is no criminal offence in that country. At the time of submitting the application, all notarization without criminal offence shall not exceed 6 months.

6. Marriage notarization (applicable to marriage relationship) or documents proving the relationship between two people (applicable to de facto marriage relationship and homosexual relationship).

7. Four No.7 reply envelopes (indicating Chinese mailing address and postal code) and a completed application form.

8. If the application includes a minor adopted child, the adoption certificate of the child shall be provided.

9. If only one parent needs to bring a minor child to immigrate, it is necessary to provide the custody right of the child and the notarized document of the other parent's consent for the child to immigrate from China.
