Is it right to say that most Americans today are descendants of European immigrants?

Because the races in South America are complicated, most of them are mixed-race. They are a mixture of Indians, whites, blacks and many people. Pure blacks and Indians. The proportion of pure white people is not high.

We can say that the United States is basically an immigrant country. But it cannot be said that most of them are descendants of European immigrants.
