How to deal with the old-age insurance after immigration

If you want to acquire foreign nationality, you need to pay the endowment insurance in full every month before you acquire it.

1. Whether the payment of endowment insurance can be suspended.

Answer: You can suspend the payment, but if you want to renew the payment in the future, you need to supplement the time you suspended, and the fee is the amount you stipulated at that time. Therefore, it doesn't make much sense to pause or not.

2. It shouldn't be refundable now, so what about the pension that has been paid in China after obtaining foreign nationality? Can I withdraw or receive a domestic pension, or donate it to the motherland for free?

A: After acquiring foreign nationality, you cannot receive a domestic pension. You can withdraw the part paid by the individual after closing the account, but you need to pay a certain management fee.

3. What about the old-age insurance if you only have permanent residency abroad and still have China nationality?

Answer: Only by continuing to pay contributions can you receive China's pension at retirement age.
