Is the domestic insurance policy still valid when moving abroad?

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs released a report in 200017: At present, the number of global immigrants is about 258 million, while another report released by the United Nations in 20001KLOC-0/00 shows that the number of international immigrants in China is about 65,438, which shows an upward trend. With the deepening of global economic integration, international immigrant groups have become a force to be reckoned with, which has promoted the healthy economic development of countries that have joined WTO.

I have some friends who have emigrated or are about to emigrate. They are all worried in one way or another. So I summed up the following four common problems to solve these problems.

1. I immigrated or joined a foreign country. What about the domestic insurance policy?

2. Do I need to tell the insurance company if I live abroad for a long time? What procedures do insurance companies generally need me to go through?

3. If you buy health insurance, can you pay for an accident abroad? What is the procedure?

4. I bought survival insurance (such as annuity insurance). How can I get it?

For the above four common customer questions, we asked the operation departments of cooperative insurance companies to give their standard answers, which are summarized as follows:

A. After moving, if your identity and nationality change, you need to go through the corresponding change procedures at the insurance company to prove that you are still you;

If you live abroad for a long time, you need to tell the insurance company where you are going. Usually going to developed countries will not affect your domestic insurance policy, and insurance companies in war-torn countries may no longer provide protection for you;

C, major illness, life insurance policy, such as insurance abroad, need to provide diagnosis, death certificate and Chinese translation, and the local consulate in China to provide medical institutions and doctors' certificates; If you can't go to China, you need to supplement the relevant authorization procedures;

D. Survival insurance can be collected normally, with different procedures, but it can only be transferred to your domestic account;

The handling procedures and materials provided by various insurance companies are similar, with only some differences. Friends can buy with confidence and boldness, and ask for the required information and handling procedures in advance before buying.

In an increasingly international society, I believe that the future insurance will be more convenient with the changes of the times.
