Application material

1. Mainland residents applying to settle in Hong Kong and Macao shall apply to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ at or above the county level where their household registration is located, accept interviews and inquiries, and perform the following procedures:

(1) Submit an Application Form for Mainland Residents to Settle in Hong Kong and Macao (hereinafter referred to as the "Application Form"), which is completed and affixed with recent bareheaded color photos (48×33mm) of the applicant and relatives of Hong Kong and Macao who intend to reunite.

(2) Submit the applicant's original household registration book and ID card and submit a copy; Those under the age of 16 shall be accompanied by their guardians, submit their household registration books and identity cards, and submit copies, as well as opinions issued by their guardians allowing them to settle in Hong Kong or Macao.

(3) Copies of Hong Kong and Macao resident identity cards and Hong Kong and Macao residents' passes to and from the Mainland submitted by relevant personnel from Hong Kong and Macao.
