202 1 China's latest visa policy requires that the fingerprint of the applicant be collected.

Recently, China's embassies in various countries issued the latest visa requirements. Passengers applying for a Chinese visa need to collect fingerprints of ten additional fingers. Embassies of various countries have released specific information on the implementation time and requirements of relevant policies. Let's take a look at them together.

Australia

From February 8, 20021year, the fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants were collected.

1. According to the relevant laws of China, the China Embassy and Consulate in Australia and the Australian China Visa Application Service Center will collect the fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants from February 8, 20021.

Two, the following persons can be exempted from mining:

(1)1applicants under 4 years old or over 70 years old;

(2) Persons who hold diplomatic passports or meet the conditions for approving diplomatic, official and courtesy visas in China;

(4) Applicants whose fingers are incomplete or unable to collect fingerprints.

3. The applicant must personally go to the China Visa Application Service Center in the consular district to save the biological information. Forging or others posing as fingerprints will result in the applicant being refused entry into China, and the legal consequences arising therefrom will be borne by the applicant himself.

All visa applicants should keep their fingerprints. Any false or incomplete fingerprints, or non-personal fingerprints, are equivalent to defrauding visas, which will lead to the rejection of visa applications or entry into China, and all the consequences arising therefrom will be borne by the parties themselves.

New Zealand

The Embassy of China in Niue (Cook Islands) issued an important notice on October 29th, 2026, and will start collecting fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants on February 6th, 2026. A few people are exempt from collecting fingerprints.

From February 6th, 20021year, the China Embassy and Consulate in New Zealand will collect the fingerprints of Chinese visa applicants.

First, the applicant must go to the consulate in person to collect biological information. If there is a forged fingerprint or an impostor, the applicant may be refused entry, and all the consequences arising therefrom shall be borne by the applicant himself.

Two. The following persons are exempt from fingerprint collection:

(11people under 4 years old or over 70 years old;

(2) Diplomatic passport holders and applicants who meet the conditions of diplomatic, official and courtesy visas (except those with reciprocal needs;
