"Elysium" tells that in the future 2159, there are two types of human beings in the world: on one side are the rich, who live in the pollution-free man-made space station Elysium (Elysium), and on the other side are the poor. Then they linger on an earth filled with waste and overpopulation. There are channels of communication between the two worlds. However, Rhodes, a high-ranking official in "Elysium" played by Jodie Foster, is a cruel and iron-blooded ruler who strictly enforces laws prohibiting immigration, forcing the poor to live on the earth for generations without being able to turn over. Private Max, played by Matt Damon, is given a difficult task. He will return to Earth to fight to defend Elysium.

When he came to Earth, he found that his life was threatened. The difficult situation of the people on Earth made him feel compassion. Where will his fate go? Is it possible for the two seemingly isolated worlds to reverse?
