The Rohingya people in Myanmar are very overbearing. What happened to this country?
The Rohingya crisis mainly broke out in recent years. Prior to this, its headquarters were located in London and the British diplomatic system. It is closely related to British NGOs and calls for the autonomy of Rakhine State in Myanmar, similar to the ethnic minority organizations in the surrounding mountainous areas of Myanmar. The difference is that there was no place to fight the Burmese army in the past. Rohingyas include the indigenous people of Rakhine State, but most of them came from the British colonial era and immigrated from India, including Bangladesh today. They are not only Muslims, but also some Hindus.
Myanmar, even India's zhina Peninsula and India's subcontinent, have never been divided according to today's borders, and ethnic migration and kingdom wars are frequent. With the arrival of European colonialism, Britain and France separated Southeast Asia from South Asia, making the local people more mixed. Under such a regional and historical background, many countries, including India, are not unified, and it emphasizes that nationalism is purely a political struggle for power. The biggest problem of democratization in Myanmar is the national harmony and unity in the country, but for a long time, the independent armed movement of ethnic groups in mountainous areas supported by foreign troops has been disguised as the biggest resistance force.
The Rohingya crisis in Rakhine State also came suddenly, and many overseas NGOs were basically directly funded and indirectly directed by the foreign ministries and embassies of European and American countries. Myanmar government forces may be excessively suppressed, which makes it difficult for Aung San Suu Kyi to convince local military forces in mountainous areas, and it is also a time of anxiety when reaching a ceasefire peace agreement with the central government. The biggest threat to the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar is not the humanitarian problems of the Rohingya, but the possibility of combining local armed forces with Islamic extremism. The independent armed forces of the Rohingyas in Rakhine State have always been weak, and their leaders and headquarters are far away from London. Different from the armed forces of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas, they insist on fighting in the local area and get the support of the masses.
