On August 18, 1952, the county was still divided into 5 districts (Nalong and Tanluo districts and the townships under their jurisdiction returned to Yongning County), and 17 townships were divided into 81 townships.

In February 1953, the county was divided into 6 districts and 68 townships. Among them, 8 townships including Lianma and Baowan in the third district and Dingdang, Jian'an, Qiaolian, Guyang, Dinghua and Yingmin in the fourth district were demarcated, and the sixth district was added, and the district people's government was located in Dingdangwei . In April, the 11th (Dujie) District of Zhendu County was assigned to Long'an County, and was called the 7th District. It governed the former Renjie, Sanle, Aihua, Dengxian, Linli, Tongle, Liming, and Liu There are 17 townships including Qi, Xinmin, Puquan, Yudong, Xinglong, Jilong, Lulian, Anili, Rongpeng and Pingyang. The district people's government is located in Dujiewu.

On April 21, 1955, the District People's Government was renamed the District Office. On the 27th, the eighth district was added, and 10 townships including Wanlang, Sixing, Xinrun, and Luanzheng in the first district, Baichao, Longwan, and Xi'an in the second district, and Sanle, Aihua, and Xinglong in the seventh district were placed under its jurisdiction. , the district office is located in Baichaoxu.

On February 10, 1958, districts were withdrawn and merged into townships. The county was merged from 84 townships into 24 townships (Nanwei, Chengxiang, Cen'ai, Datong, Zhendong, Yanjiang, Natong, Nazhong, Gutan, Xiaolin, Minyang, Qiaojian, Banluo, Jiujia, Dingdang, Baima, Qiaolian, Dujie, Lulong, Jilong, Tongle, Yangwan, Lianlong, Luanzheng). In January 1960, 15 communes in the county were merged into 11 communes. In June 1961, 11 communes were divided into Chengxiang, Nanwei, Datong, Baichao, Yanjiang, Natong, Nazhong, Xiaolin, Minyang, Qiaojian, Banluo, Gutan, Dingdang, Baima and Dujie. , Tongle, Buquan, Pingshan 18 communes.
