Not correct. These three provinces have one seismic zone and two seismic zones.

Earthquakes and:

Yinchuan-Hetao seismic belt. Yinchuan, Uda, Dengkou and some areas west of Hohhot are located in the west and north of Hetao area. The earthquake had a great influence on Xinjiang.

Earthquake area:

Qinghai-Tibet Plateau earthquake area. Including the vast plateau area surrounded by Hindu Kush Mountain, West Kunlun Mountain, Altun Mountain, Qilian Mountain, Helan Mountain-Liupanshan Mountain, Longmen Mountain, Himalayan Mountain and the eastern wing of Hengduan Mountain. It involves all or part of Qinghai, Tibet, Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Sichuan and Yunnan, as well as parts of the former Soviet Union, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Laos.

This earthquake area is the largest in China, and it is also the area with the strongest seismic activity and frequent major earthquakes.

Xinjiang seismic belt: the seismic belt where an earthquake of magnitude 8 occurred. It is also well known that there is a strong destructive earthquake here. Generally speaking, Xinjiang earthquake area is vast and sparsely populated, and its economy is underdeveloped. Although there are many and frequent strong earthquakes, most of them occur in mountainous areas, and the losses of people and property are far less than those caused by several earthquake zones in eastern China.
