National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination

Grading: Translation professional qualification (level) examination grades are divided into: (1) advanced translation; (2) First-class interpretation and translation; (3) Two levels of interpretation and translation; (4) Three-level interpretation and translation. After passing the examination, the Ministry of Personnel will issue the China Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Certificate.

Examination time: The national translation professional qualification (level) examination will be held once a year during the pilot period. The translation professional qualification (level) certificate shall be registered regularly, once every three years. Before the expiration of the validity period, the holder shall go through the formalities of re-registration at the designated institution as required, and provide proof of continuing education or business training.
