Mr. Ma Yanxian

Horse, whose real name is item, is a person. On October 18th, 12th year of Guangxu reign (1886), he was born in Longjuzhai, Shangzhou, Shaanxi (now Chengguan, Danfeng County). Originally from Xiaochiyi, Taihu County, Anhui Province, he immigrated to Shimazhai, Shangnan County, Shaanxi Province.

His grandfather lost his livelihood because of the decline of his family. At the age of 12, he left Shimazhai in Shangnan to make a living in Longjuzhai in Shangzhou, and became an apprentice in a firecracker shop. Because of his honesty, he was loved by his boss. After years of accumulation, I successfully opened a Majiapu shop named Renyitang.

His father Ma inherited his ancestral business and sent him to a private school in his childhood. He is smart and studious, and he did well in the exam of 1906. In the late Qing Dynasty, Shangzhou opened a school, and Ma went to Shangzhou Middle School to study. After graduation, he studied in Xi College of Shaanxi Province. During my school days, I got excellent grades and was among the best.

After graduating from colleges and universities, Ma Xiang accepted the employment of Jiao He and became a teacher of Jianben School. In fact, this school is one of the three major party organizations where Shaanxi revolutionaries meet secretly (the other two are public welfare bookstores and provincial consultation bureaus), and its main task is to cultivate revolutionary talents. Later, introduced by Jingwumu and Li Xiangchu, Ma Xiang joined the league. In the second year of Xuantong (19 10), more than ten people, including Guo xiren, Jiao, Zou, Li Xiangchu and Hema, held a secret meeting at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi, and Guo Xiren was elected as the branch minister of Shaanxi Branch of the League (Guo was an adviser to Shaanxi at that time). After the meeting, the branch appointed Ma Xiang to Japan to launch an armed uprising and buy arms and guns for the party.

In the third year of Xuantong (19 1 1), Ma Xiang returned to Beijing from Japan and learned that the provincial wall had been rebelled and recovered, that is, he returned to Shaanxi with Chen Huiting and Fan Weiming to praise the revolution. Mianchi's behavior was blocked by the Qing army, so he went to Nanjing by sea to meet with President Sun Yat-sen. When the war between the east and west roads in Shaanxi was tight, Feng sent Gan Xin and Wang San to Hubei for help, called on Vice President Li, and sent Hubei and Ji Xianlin to help the Shaanxi army. After Gan and Dong Wang returned to Nanking, Yan Xiankai rode west. After the troops arrived at Jingziguan, they heard that the situation in Shaanxi was slowing down and peace talks were under way. It is uncertain whether the Hubei army will come to help, so we have to send Ma Xiang back to Shaanxi for instructions. In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), after Ma Xiang returned to Longjuzhai in March 13, he called Xi 'an General Affairs Office through Yang Mingyuan, director of Longjuzhai business office. Here, the North-South talks were successful, the Qing emperor abdicated, the Shaanxi war ended, and peace was achieved.

In early February of the same year, people from all walks of life in Shaanxi initiated the establishment of a temporary provincial council, which was approved by the military authorities. On March 27th, we voted in accordance with the five districts of East, West, North and South, with 8 people in each district and 40 people in the whole province. Ma, Yu Bingying and Wang Jiabin from Shangzhou were elected. After the establishment of the Provisional Provincial Council, according to the instructions of the government of the Republic of China in Beijing, six members of the National Assembly of China were elected, among whom Ma, who was only 26 years old, was among them.

Make friends with the famous anti-Japanese Zhang Zizhong. 1935 after the north China incident, Zhang Zizhong became the chairman of Chahar province, the chairman of Jicha government committee and the mayor of Tianjin, and urged Ma Xiang to be the secretary-general of Chahar province and the secretary-general of Tianjin municipal government. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he returned to Shaanxi and became the president of xi Red Cross Society. 1964 died at the age of 78.
