You can get a passport in a different place. Mainland residents can apply for replacement (replacement) of entry documents in different places across the country. Applicants can apply for the replacement (replacement) of ordinary passports, Hong Kong and Macao passes and Taiwan passes at any public security exit-entry administration institution in China, and the application procedures are the same as those of their places of residence.
