Professor Xue Jing is the leader of the history major in the newly-built undergraduate colleges of Fujian Provincial Education Department, the director of "Du Min Historical and Cultural Research Center", the research base of humanities and social sciences in the newly-built undergraduate colleges of Fujian Provincial Education Department, the candidate of "100 million talents project" and the provincial "model of teachers' morality". Working and living in this land, I feel more and more deeply about Du Min culture. "Professor Xue called this lecture a ramble, and described the definitions of Fujian capital culture, Tanshishan culture, three lanes and seven lanes culture and ship administration culture, and described eight cultures with a long history and rich colors in Fujian.

Professor Xue Jing first gave a detailed and wonderful explanation of Minnan culture, Hakka culture and Mazu culture, and also briefly introduced the customs of different areas in Fujian.

The three great immigration waves in Fujian history are also a highlight. Professor Xue's introduction to the three waves of migration in Sun Wu period, the rebellion of eight kings in the late Western Jin Dynasty and the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties period left a deep impression on the students present.

When talking about Tanshishan culture, Professor Xue especially mentioned the difference between marine civilization and mainland civilization, and explained the debate on the origin of Fujian marine civilization and Austronesian language family with many historical and practical materials.

Speaking of Fuzhou culture, Professor Xue is particularly enthusiastic. She deeply introduced the cultural business cards such as "Saddle Wall", "Loumen" and "Shuige Stage" in the three lanes and seven lanes, and also mentioned the origins of many modern pioneers such as Yan Fu, Lin Zexu and Shen Baozhen with the "three lanes and seven lanes", which deepened everyone's feelings about the humanistic atmosphere of the "three lanes and seven lanes".

"History is often caused by accident," Professor Xue said when referring to the culture of ship administration. Professor Xue said that Fuzhou Shipping Bureau was the pioneer of modern shipbuilding industry in China, the base for training scientific and technological teams in modern China and the cradle of modern navy in China. From Fuzhou Ship Administration Bureau to Ship Administration School, from Shen Baozhen to Yan Fu, with her narration, the cultural history of Fuzhou Ship Administration is presented to everyone like a movie.
