1. "Zengjia Village" in Jintang Yaodu Township

Yaodu Township has three adjacent Hakka manor Zengjia Village: "Zengshi Laozhai", "Zengshi Shangxinzhai", and "Zengshi Xiaxin" "Zhai" are all magnificent residential buildings. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Zeng clan gave up their Lao, Shang and Xia villages to Shanxi Mingxian Academy, which moved to Sichuan. During the war, it developed into Mingxian College, which trained many talents for the country. The Zeng clan became famous all over the world. inside and outside.

①Zeng’s Old Village

This was built by Zeng Xiuqing, a descendant of the Zeng family who immigrated from Guangdong to Sichuan and settled in Yaodu Township, Jintang during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It has accumulated tens of thousands of taels of silver. Materials were prepared during the Jiaqing period, and construction began in the 10th year of Daoguang (1830), with occasional interruptions until it was completed in the 20th year of Daoguang (1840). The *** construction base covers an area of ??40 acres with hundreds of rooms, creating a grand foundation for the descendants of the Zeng family. Over the years, most of the residences in Zengjiazhai have been damaged.

Judging from the "Full View of the Old Village" drawn by Zeng Ganxiu in his memory, there is a large pond outside the Zengjia Village, with a large wooden bridge in the middle leading to the village gate. The village gate is a city gate with an archway-style building. There are "four golden" carved towers built at the four corners of the 40-acre-wide village. There is a large square building (three floors) in the rear of the village, and a "five-room **" in the middle. *There are many public housing units. Each house has its own living room, is surrounded by walls, and can communicate with each other. There are powder rooms, mills, pig and chicken sheds, kitchens, warehouses and other facilities in the village.

②Zeng’s Xia Xinzhai

According to Zeng Ganxiu’s recollection: “This house was built in the first year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. Connected to each other, the new house is beautiful and spectacular. It is surrounded by a lotus pond in front and surrounded by thousands of ancient cypresses. Thousands of egrets live in the forest. From a distance, the cypress branches of the house are covered with pearls, which makes it even more beautiful.

③Zeng. Shishang Xinzhai

According to Zeng Ganxiu’s recollection: “The construction of this house started in the 10th year of Tongzhi and was completed in the 13th year of Tongzhi’s reign, with a base of 20 acres. Because there is no palace system to build the four-room Sutra Hall. This new house has been completed with splendor and splendor, and is truly the beauty of the town. Among the four buildings in this house, there are three rooms and three rooms in the Sutra Hall... They all gathered in this house at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. ”

2. Zengjia’s old village in Xiushui Township, Jintang

Zengjia’s old village in Xiushui Township is dilapidated in Jinshuiba (now Qianfeng Brigade) in the township. It was built in the Xianfeng period. It occupies With an area of ??60 acres, it is the largest of the four villages. There are ditches and stone railings outside the village. There are battlements at the four corners of the village. There are a pair of gilded stone lions at the entrance, and there is a huge stone screen at the entrance of the village, which is about 15.6 meters tall. The owner Zeng Jiabang was awarded the title of martial arts general during the Xianfeng period. There is a gold-lettered plaque of the martial arts general in the village. The village is made of wood and stone. The house has carved beams and painted roofs, and the wooden doors and windows are engraved with patterns such as "Seventy-two Filial Piety" and "Mother-in-law Tattoo". The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the roof tiles are yellow and green glazed tiles.

In addition, the Hakka houses in western Sichuan are of high artistic value. A small building, usually with a "two hall" structure. This kind of building is preserved in Dongwuxiang, Longquanyi, on the outskirts of Chengdu.
