What was your experience after watching the documentary series "Home Far Away"?

When you read Borderland Travel, Coastal Travel, Thirty Degrees North Latitude, etc., it will feel like you have traveled around China, and you can feel the vastness of Greater China, its cultural inclusiveness and its long history.

After reading the Faraway Home series, I started to yearn for distant places, and look forward to China, border areas, and all over the world. As a frog in a well living in the city, currently unable to travel thousands of miles, I must first get close to and learn about the customs, customs and folk culture of other places through the available channels, and learn to be a person who knows what it means to have a vast land and abundant resources.

I used to like Discovery Channel documentaries about cosmic technology, such as Through the Wormhole narrated by Morgan Freeman, and BBC humanities documentaries. Many people sneer at domestic documentaries, not only because of the shooting techniques and recording angles, but also because of whether they are true rather than one-sidedly reflecting the real facts. These are all realities, but recently I watched Far Away Home about the Belt and Road Initiative. The introduction of Pakistan introduced the general situation of Pakistan from various perspectives of education, military, social and humanities. It does have a political tendency to praise the friendship between China and Pakistan, and the host's limited ability cannot achieve a comprehensive understanding.

But as a film that introduces Pakistan to the country for the first time, it is still worth watching. Take a small painted bouncy bus to tour the old town of Rawalpindi, try on a silk, cotton and linen blended robe similar to a Chinese cheongsam, and also see traditional henna hand-painted tattoos that are worn during Ramadhan and newlyweds in Pakistan. Hand-painted, this kind of painting combines plant pigments, lemons, and other materials to create Islamic totems and blessing patterns. It is exquisite and exotic. I heard that it can last for about half a month. After watching the video, I found it incredible.

As a big country, China needs to export excess productivity, and the friendship of mutual help also needs the support of interests. I think a good documentary can give you the desire to watch, the urge to understand and the final aftertaste, just like a delicacy that needs to be savored slowly. Far Home has its flaws but at least it gave me an immersive feeling as someone who has never been to Pakistan, like traveling alone in Pakistan.
