How to get a driver's license by immigrating to Hungary

International driver's license, the so-called IDP card (so-called international driver's license issued by foreign countries), can not be used by any country alone. If it is true, it can only be used within six months from the date of issuance of the EU residence card. As long as the date of the residence card exceeds half a year, you must pass the examination and change it into a Hungarian driver's license. You can't change an international driver's license here. Only countries outside Europe need to apply for an international driver's license in five languages at the issuing authority of the district government. The international driver's license cannot be used alone, and it must be used together with the original driver's license to take effect. The international driver's license itself is useless (in fact, it is the international translation of Hungarian driver's license). IDP cards (international driver's licenses) handled by other countries cannot be used alone, but they must be used together with the local driver's licenses of the issuing countries, but they can only be used for up to 6 months. It takes effect from the date of residence or visa issuance, and the driver's license of the country of residence must be changed after 6 months.
