Brief introduction of Shizigang

On the north bank of Danjiangkou Reservoir, there is a loess hill. According to legend, there is a boulder on the front hill, which looks like a lion from a distance, hence the name Lion Hill. Shizigang village belongs to mountainous and hilly area, with large ground fluctuation, steep mountains and valleys. The monsoon climate from north subtropical zone to warm temperate zone is mild, with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. Shizigang Village is an important small port with a flood and drought wharf connecting the two sides. Generally, cars from Xichuan County have to ferry from here to the other side. Compared with other villages, the traffic is convenient, the beach area is vast and there are many forage resources. In addition to the common agricultural products in the north, some villagers also regard fishing as an important source of income because they are close to Danjiangkou Reservoir.
