Burmese can't get a China hukou, so they have to give up their Burmese nationality as immigrants, while China can give her a permanent residence permit in China instead of a Chinese identity card.
If the child was born in Myanmar, he/she should take out his/her birth certificate and the man's passport and go to the Embassy of China to get a certificate. Just go to the local public security bureau after returning home.
