Motherland, I love your little story
1 Recommend Qian Xuesen's Dedication to the Motherland.
People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded 1949. Qian Xuesen, who has been in the United States for nearly 20 years, is extremely excited. On the 6th day after the birth of New China, Qian Xuesen and his wife had a strong idea: to return to the lovely motherland and contribute their wisdom and strength to the new country. However, the road to return home is full of twists and turns and hardships, which Qian Xuesen did not expect. This scholar, who is "worth five divisions wherever he goes", was made difficult by the US Immigration Bureau when he packed his scientific books and research notes and sent them to the US handling company for transportation back to China. They threatened the patriotic scholar in China in every way and put him in a detention center, which greatly restricted his personal freedom. For five years, he almost lived under house arrest. However, many hardships did not destroy the strong will of Qian Xuesen and his wife to return to the motherland. They packed their boxes and prepared to fly back to China at any time every day. 1955, Qian Xuesen, who was suffering in anxious to return, called for help from his motherland, and the China government came forward to try to rescue him through negotiation. Finally, in September this year, Qian Xuesen and his wife returned to the embrace of the motherland after more than five years of struggle.

2009 is the 60th anniversary of the founding of our great mother, the people of China. 60 years can be said to be a snap of your fingers! China, a country with a population of 654.38+0.3 billion, has made remarkable progress in all aspects. The 60-year reform of the founding of the People's Republic of China has benefited everyone's life.
Grandma is a peer of the motherland, and she witnessed the growth of the motherland. She often tells me how happy your life is now. The expectation of "wearing new clothes for the New Year" was the wish of peers at that time. If we can put on new clothes when there is no Chinese New Year, the satisfaction and pride envied by our neighbors will make people unable to understand now, not to mention that each of us now has at least several sets of clothes with good styles and textures and distinct seasons.
The supply of food made grandma unforgettable. There are tickets to buy meat, but there is absolutely no need to be picky, not to mention standing in a long queue in the crowded open air and worrying that it will be out of stock when it's my turn. When my grandmother was a teenager, she was most afraid of letting her parents shout in line. When accepting this task, she often insisted that "I would rather not eat meat than wait in line". In the forties and fifties, materials were extremely scarce. A piece of brown sugar or tofu, or even a little salty Chili noodles, was once a common snack. At that time, we ate with relish, no less than the excitement when we ate the latest food on the market, and the carefree feeling after being numb by pepper was no less than the hearty eating of hot pot now.
Sixty years ago, many families lived in old wooden houses. Every morning, every family has to empty the toilet and burn the coal stove, and the living conditions are very poor. Grandma said that her family of seven lived in a room and an attic, so it was inconvenient to turn around. They have to take turns eating, and the bed is designed as a bunk bed. Now, our family conditions are good. A house with three bedrooms and two living rooms, with only one coal and one bathroom, has bright windows.
And changes in communication tools. In terms of human resources, mobile phones in the 1980s, BBs in the 1990s and mobile phones have become status symbols. In today's 2 1 century, everyone has more than one mobile phone in his hand, so wherever he goes, he is close at hand, and his work efficiency and economic benefits are fruitful.
After listening to grandma's story, I feel that we are living in such a beautiful golden age. This happy, stable and harmonious situation also needs us to cherish and maintain. Through our efforts and struggles, the motherland will become more and more prosperous and the people's lives will become better and better!
