What are the requirements for China people to work in Thailand and apply for a work visa?
In order to better understand, we need to know the following three words:
1. Business visa (b). Business visa is one of the entry visas in Thailand. In addition to business visas, there are tourist visas, transit visas (landing visas), non-immigrant visas (including studying abroad, visiting relatives, training) and pension visas. People who are engaged in business activities or work in Thailand need to apply for a business visa to enter Thailand.
After the business visa is processed, the embassy or consulate will stick the visa page on the passport like a tourist visa.
2. Work permit. The full name of the work permit is the work permit for foreigners in Thailand, and many people call it "work permit" for short. According to Thai law, all foreigners in Thailand must obtain this certificate if they want to work in Thailand and get paid. With this certificate, employees can legally apply to the Thai Labor Bureau for a one-year or two-year visa extension and obtain legal residency. General enterprises apply for work permits for employees once a year, while enterprises applying for BOI apply every two years.
With a work permit, foreigners in Thailand can legally apply for bank cards, apply for letters of credit, take a driver's license and so on.
3. Work visa. A work visa is a visa for working and staying in Thailand after obtaining a work permit. Generally, apply for a one-year work visa first, and then continue to renew it after one year.
To sum up, if you are engaged in business activities or work in Thailand and need to stay for a long time, the order of applying for a visa should be:
Step 1: Apply for a business visa Step 2: Apply for a work permit Step 3: Apply for a work visa.
