Did you change your nationality when you immigrated?
Immigration does not mean changing nationality. Immigration refers to having the permanent residence in another country and enjoying all the welfare guarantee systems in that country on the premise of having the original nationality.
People with immigration status need to meet the requirements of immigration supervision, that is, if they live in the country for more than two years within five years, they can maintain their immigration status and automatically transfer to the next immigration supervision, that is, they need to live for two years in the next five years, and so on. If this requirement cannot be met, the immigration status will be cancelled.
Legal basis:
Article 9 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China * * * A China citizen who has settled in a foreign country will automatically lose his China nationality if he voluntarily joins or acquires a foreign nationality.
