About studying in the UK: preparing for LNAT

If you want to apply for Oxford law, you must take the LNAT exam.

Many students choose law major when studying abroad, but for famous schools, there will be some entrance exams of law, such as LNAT exam! Today, I want to learn from the housekeeper and give you a detailed introduction to the LNAT exam and preparation experience, hoping to give some reference and suggestions to my friends!

What is the LNAT exam? Foreign universities use LNAT to help them choose their legal major.

The exam will not test legal knowledge or any other subjects. On the contrary, it can help universities assess your ability to learn the skills needed for law. The content of LNAT is managed by members of LNAT Alliance. According to LNAT's contract, the examination itself is managed by Pearson VUE.

LNAT can help universities make a fairer choice among many high-quality applicants who want to attend their university law courses. It is used in conjunction with other admission processes, such as UCAS application and academic certification.

What is the LNAT test for? LNAT is a 135 minute test, which is divided into two parts.

It consists of two parts: multiple-choice questions based on text paragraphs and a paper.

The first part:

The first part is a computer-based multiple-choice exam. You will be asked to read an article and answer questions to test your understanding of the article. You will check your score in the "multiple choice" section of the exam through the computer. This section contains 42 multiple-choice questions. These questions are based on 12 argumentative essays, each with 3 to 4 multiple-choice questions. You will have 95 minutes to answer all the questions. 6 tracks per minute on average.

Part b:

In the second part of the exam, you will be asked to write a paper on three proposed topics. This part is not marked by the examination center and will not help your LNAT score, but you can take this opportunity to show your ability to make convincing arguments and draw conclusions.

You can check the answers at any time within 95 minutes, but once you start part B, you can't go back to the multiple-choice part. In part B, you will have 40 minutes to answer one of the three essay questions on a series of topics to prove your ability to argue and draw conclusions economically. Good English writing skills will be necessary. Write a short essay in 750 words or less.

For example:
