How can Chinese mainland citizens become permanent residents?

The requirements for mainland professionals to immigrate to Hong Kong are as follows:

1. Mainland China residents who are not local graduates but have special skills, knowledge or experience that Hong Kong needs but lacks may apply to work in Hong Kong under the Admission of Mainland Talents Scheme.

2. Applications for admission to Hong Kong for employment under the Admission of Mainland Talents Scheme may be considered for approval if they meet the following criteria:

A, refused to apply for security reasons, and the applicant has no known serious criminal record;

B, the applicant has a good educational background, usually refers to holding a relevant bachelor's degree, but under special circumstances, it is also accepted to have good technical qualifications, proven professional ability and/or documented relevant experience and achievements;

C. There are indeed vacancies in Hong Kong companies; (Master degree or above is acceptable)

D, the applicant must have been hired, and the work must be related to their own education or work experience, and can not easily let themselves serve; and

E salary and benefits (including income, housing, medical care and other fringe benefits) should be basically the same as those of local professionals at that time.

The program is open to all departments or places. Apart from professionals from the business and financial sectors, this scheme is also applicable to the importation of talents and professionals from the arts, culture, sports and catering sectors, so as to consolidate Hong Kong's position as a world city in Asia.

4. If mainlanders who are currently working or studying in Hong Kong are allowed to come to work in Hong Kong, they must first return to the Mainland to apply for a Permit to Travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao for Private Purposes and relevant endorsements to Hong Kong before they can come to work in Hong Kong.
