What are the requirements for working in Japan?

Long-term residence in Japan requires the following conditions:

1. Have lived in Japan continuously 10 years, have worked in Japan for five years since the date of applying for permanent residence, hold a work visa, pay the social insurance and taxes that should be paid, and have no criminal record.

2. For Japanese spouse visa holders, they need to have a certificate of marriage relationship issued by a government agency after they have lived in Japan for five consecutive years.

3. Proof of family relationship is required after living in Japan for 5 years continuously.

To be qualified to stay in Japan as a commercial investor, you need to live in Japan for more than 5 years, depending on the company's operating conditions.

5. To change nationality, Japanese nationality is also naturalization, which requires continuous residence in Japan for five years and knowledge of Japanese self-reliance skills. You need the consent of your biological parents. Once you become a Japanese, you lose your original nationality.

Visa issuance conditions:

In principle, if the visa applicant meets all the following conditions, the visa that meets the requirements will be issued.

1. The applicant must hold a valid passport and have the right and qualification to re-enter the country of return or residence.

2. The application materials submitted are true and conform to the regulations.

3. The applicant's activities or identity, status and stay in Japan meet the requirements of the Law on the Recognition of Entry and Exit Countries and Refugees (195 1 Decree No.319, Entry Law).

4. The applicant does not meet any of the items 1 in Article 5 of the Immigration Law.
