The major of international relations is a subject that comprehensively cultivates people's qualities in all aspects. Although these industries will not only recruit graduates majoring in international relations, but also reserve enough places for students majoring in international relations. But the school factor is very important. If it is a school with a bad reputation or studying abroad (the security system is basically impossible), the chances may be slightly worse.

3. Relying on the ability to analyze problems and learning ability: International relations majors cultivate students' ability to analyze problems systematically, logically and quickly. Moreover, because some of the research objects of international relations are new problems, it also requires people to learn quickly. Therefore, well-trained students majoring in international relations can go to a series of places to work, such as consulting companies, auditing companies and strategic analysis positions in companies. For example, some of my classmates work in companies such as PetroChina and Minmetals. In fact, learning ability and analytical ability enable people to adapt to any post quickly, which is why students who have good homework and articles in international relations courses generally have strong working ability, because their abilities are the same.

4. Foreign language ability: Foreign language ability is one of the strengths of students majoring in international relations. Although our foreign languages are not as good as those of foreign language graduates, our competitiveness is often better by combining the ability to analyze problems and learn quickly. With the support of 3.4 capabilities, we have good opportunities in foreign companies, NGOs, international organizations and foreign-related companies.

5. Writing ability: The main thing here is to write reports and official documents. The former can support us to enter the media industry, while the latter enables us to enter the civil service.

6. Reading taste and editing skills: One thing closely related to writing is editing ability, which is also the reason why many students majoring in international relations enter the publishing industry. Of course, there are many kinds of publishing industry, including websites, publishing houses and magazines.

Having said that, we can see that the future is bright. When studying, you need to give due consideration to the employment problem and make preparations in advance. For example, publish some comments and articles, test some qualifications, prove English ability, practice and so on. Profession can only help you to a certain extent.
