Register to maintain full-time student status

Foreign students do not need to apply for special permission to work on campus, but they must register to maintain their full-time student status.

Hold a legal student status, have been enrolled for more than 9 months, meet the general standards, and can work in a company recognized by the Immigration Bureau or the Ministry of Labor with the approval of the school's foreign student consultant. The work is valid for one year, but they can apply for an extension.

Working time limit

During the semester, the weekly working hours are generally limited to less than 20 hours, and you can also work outside the school for up to 40 hours on holidays.

Income from part-time jobs is tax-free.

As a student, you don't have to pay taxes on the income of part-time jobs.

Don't work in an unqualified company.

Remember, the company you work for must be a company recognized by the Immigration Bureau or the Ministry of Labor, not any company.
