Blink CEO: the legendary queen of Asian private equity funds-the life of Wang Leyiyi

Kabir is my husband, my best friend and rock. I always feel sorry for him because his life has changed. He can walk away, but he always gives me a sense of security and makes me feel strong. With his love, I think I can cure all my pains. I can't live without him. I love him as much as I did before the stroke. He is firm because he still loves me, although I am different now.

Kabir is my soul mate. We had an experience that made me feel energetic. On a business trip, kabir bought me a book about Alan Passat's life. Kabir remembers my internship under Aaron Pasade when I was in Paris. I can imagine that my life is not just defined by wheelchairs. Kabir is also in contact with me. Whenever I think of him, he will call me. He is my fastest way to communicate, because he knows me too well. He handled this stressful and destructive situation gracefully and with a sense of humor. In all the changes, he is my support and cornerstone. I never thought that I would test him with "being sick and healthy".

Family words-kabir Misra For me, Laurie has these qualities: First, she is smart and devoted to her work? ; Love food, wine, entertainment, shopping and tourism? ; Third, she is absolutely dedicated to her family and friends; Fourth, she has the ability to take care of her life and manage our home in all directions. She is the best mother and wife. The last week before Laurie's stroke was the epitome of all this:

On Friday night, Laurie came home exhausted after working in Shanghai for a week. On Sunday, we stayed with Tonton all day and didn't do much. We went to a toy world in Central, looked at my new office in Wan Chai, and ate a lot of jiaozi in Emerald Lamian Noodles steamed buns. Ton Ton opened his new version of Wanbao, bought some daily necessities from Watsons, then went home for a nap, and then went to that place for dinner with Laurie's friends. We ate and drank there, and Laurie had a good time. It was a relaxing day for me. I met some very interesting people through Laurie.

All Sunday, we discussed Laurie's new fund and her role in it with Tangtang in the Mid-Levels. After ordering Thai food in Buji restaurant, I fell asleep while Laurie was watching 24 Hours. On Monday, Laurie had a full schedule for the whole morning. First of all, we went to the American embassy to update the photos on the passport of Tangtang. Then, we went to the immigration office and got his home visit permit. We stopped at Starbucks, and then I took Ton Ton home, and she went to a limited partner meeting. I spoke to her on the phone an hour later. She has all our information. I need my bank account number. When we are a team, Laurie is definitely our captain, taking care of all our lives.

One of the most surprising things about Laurie is that after her stroke, she has never changed in essence. Yes, she was unwell for a while, but in the past few years, she has completely regained control of us and her own life. This is good for me, Ton Ton and Caillou, because no matter how good the agent is, I am always better. After staying on the disabled list for a while, the captain of our team came back!

With regard to the characteristics of the first two projects, Laurie has now started to work again (despite some difficulties) and managed our own investment. She attended all the investment conferences and international conferences of Kunhang as much as possible, attended the fundraising luncheon of Alibaba, and gave him a difficult briefing before investing in Rich Lin's fund. In my career, she has always been my closest confidant and mentor. She is shopping again now. She is also Cabi's best customer. Maybe she has credit cards in every store! In fact, the only way to curb this shopping frenzy is to make sure that she spends time eating in the best restaurants, drinking the best wine, and staying away from shopping centers and online stores.

She started with soup and mashed vegetables, followed by foie gras and sea urchin brought back by Masayoshi Son. Now she has everything except spicy food. This allows us to have a special dinner together, and when I go out to work, it allows her to have dinner with the children. So far, Laurie has mainly taken short trips on TV (trying to watch Ton Ton and anthony bourdain, which I also like very much) or sat in her Sprinter van, but the trip to legoland and Disneyland has opened her world. This fall, we will have an amazing trip to Prinsville. Next year, we decided to go to Hong Kong! Laurie always thought that the best gift her father gave her was a trip, and she wanted to bring it to her children. The old Laurie is back-working hard, eating and drinking, shopping, watching her favorite programs and movies, and traveling.

Of course, when she is with her family and friends, it is the moment when she takes the biggest step forward. This is a test of the quality of Laurie's interpersonal relationship. All her friends firmly support Laurie and give her companionship and love to keep her going. Similarly, Laurie always gives priority to her friends and is eager to interact with them. In some years, we were "my friends" and "friends of Laurie", and then we were "our friends" in Hong Kong. Now, she also has a group of new friends who are extremely important to her. It is very interesting to spend a lot of time eating with each group of friends mentioned above. At dinner, Laurie ate, drank and listened carefully to all the stories!

In many ways, this is what she enjoys most now (second only to children, of course). As time goes by, I hope we can hold such dinners often. Surprisingly, Laurie can support herself at these dinners and let everyone at the table hear her voice. She is really interested in every friend's life, and wants to know how they raise their children, what programs they watch during entertainment, where they travel, and what they eat and drink at the first time. Laurie seems to share their happiness. It's great to see her laughing with them. More importantly, Laurie still has his own time with friends and no family-then I spoil the children and treat ourselves with junk food!

At home, Laurie has always played the role of the best mother and wife. She always takes care of every minute of Ton Ton's life in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, at the beginning, she couldn't do the same thing for Caillou. Ton Ton's growth in the first four years can't be more comprehensive, interesting and fully developed than what he experienced before, and Caillou is the same now. Laurie made great sacrifices in her career so that she could be a perfect mother and spend a lot of time with her-she also insisted that he should have a brother to accompany him all his life and try his best to raise and raise Carol in the last month before her stroke. With a consistent attitude, she overcame the language restrictions that would prevent her from taking on these responsibilities, and once again completely grasped the children's activities, their academic and extracurricular life, the food they ate (or, more importantly, the food they didn't eat).

Watch movie nights with children regularly, walk in Stanford, go shopping, travel in theme parks, visit museums, baseball and football games-in fact, both Ton and Caillou know that they only come to me when they need some fast food, carbonated drinks and watch professional sports games! Most importantly, she makes me a better father, ensures that I spend the same amount of time with my two children, and they both help me to arrange my daily activities with them. She often spells "Don't tease Caillou" … and really wants to make sure Caillou is not ignored. Laurie also gradually strengthened management to take care of herself, including all the nannies and houses. All employees at home are now used to the 360-degree evaluation she once conducted at Goldman Sachs. I gradually became redundant, and I was demoted and arranged for dinner and vacation!

All this points to the most surprising thing I have known in the past five years: Laurie was still the same person before and after the stroke. She may look different to the naked eye, but in essence, she is the same person. She is the best wife and mother and has amazing intuition about how to raise children. She is an admirable friend, because she has made many new friends because of the stroke, and she is still trying to maintain her old friends.

She is a great female student and continues to help AA, her father and Soft Bank. She is an outstanding planner and manager, and even today, she continues to maintain the same state. A large group of people were lucky to have her in their lives before Laurie got sick, and a group of people are lucky to have her in their lives now. Most importantly, Ton Ton, Caillou and I once again have the most important part of our team and become a complete state. We look forward to maintaining the same enthusiasm every day of our lives. Just as Laurie tried to show the same woman to the world, they only needed to see her closest family. We are very happy to get together again and enjoy our life.
