Plot summary:

Victor Naworski (Tom. Hanks) originally left his home country to escape the war, but who would have thought that while he was flying to the United States, his hometown would be caught in a sudden coup. Victor was in a dilemma and could only be stranded at JFK International Airport with his passport from a non-existent country.
