Because the reservoir construction needs to be relocated, the residents of Yankou Reservoir in Yinjiang moved to Yanziyan Village. Yanzi Rock Village is located 2 kilometers south of Huangmu Town. The village has jurisdiction over four villagers' groups: Yuquan, Gantianzui, Yanming and Yanxing. 354 households 1236 people, including 958 Tujia people, accounting for 78% of the village population. Yanzi Rock Village was founded in Ming and Qing Dynasties. As one of the villages in Jinchang River Basin, Yanzi Rock Village is rich in water resources, with 50hm2 of fertile land to raise villagers in Yanzi Rock.
