What is the sphere of Qianjiang New Town?

Scheme 8 draws inspiration from Hangzhou logo and merges it into a sphere. It not only makes plane graphics three-dimensional and creates three-dimensional space, but also endows Hangzhou city logo with richer connotation.

The spherical sculpture is 4.5 meters in diameter, and the overall shape is simple and clear. The bright metal material makes the sculpture more contemporary, which makes the sculpture in harmony with the atmosphere of Qianjiang New City and echoes the surrounding architectural forms.

Sculpture is changed and expanded on the basis of Hangzhou city logo graphics. The modeling elements of pavilions, terraces, buildings and pavilions in Hangzhou are changed into the shape of clouds, and the original shapes of pavilions and eaves are properly preserved, creating a beautiful scene of palaces in the clouds and setting off the urban characteristics of Hangzhou as a "paradise".

The lower part of the sphere is a solid body, on which the Hangzhou city logo pattern treated by water waves is expressed in a corrosive way, forming the reflection of the upper part of the sculpture "paradise" in the water, thus showing the beauty of Hangzhou's mountains and rivers and the situation of water and sky.
