New Zealand Undergraduate Study Admission Criteria
New Zealand universities are generally three-year undergraduate courses, including liberal arts, business, design, nursing and other majors; Some majors have a four-year academic system, including engineering and law. General courses start twice a year in February and July, and a few courses only start once a year in February.
If domestic students want to enter the first year of New Zealand universities directly, they need to complete the freshman course of domestic regular universities or the sophomore course of domestic regular universities. Or students' college entrance examination scores are above two lines (some institutions can recognize them). Domestic senior two/senior three graduates, who want to enter the undergraduate course, must first attend the college preparatory course (8- 18 months), complete the preparatory course and meet certain conditions before entering the undergraduate course.
Domestic college graduates can apply for credit reduction if their major in China is the same as or similar to that in New Zealand University, and the time required for undergraduate study will be shortened accordingly. The English level of international students applying to study in 8 universities and 25 polytechnics in New Zealand must reach IELTS, academic 6.0 or TOEFL 550. Foreign students who can't meet this standard can study in language classes at universities or language schools off campus before entering school.

To apply for a master's degree at the University of New Zealand, the applicant must complete the undergraduate course at a regular university in China and obtain a bachelor's degree. If you are a senior or graduate student in China and some university graduates with rich work experience, you can directly apply for a master's degree at New Zealand University. When applying for a master's degree in New Zealand, students are required to have the same or similar professional background as the postgraduate courses to be enrolled in China. If the background is not similar, you can take a postgraduate bridge course in the first half of the year or one year, and then enroll in a postgraduate course. After completing the bridge course, you can enter the postgraduate stage.
Language requirements
The master's degree in New Zealand requires higher English scores, and the postgraduate courses of business, liberal arts, engineering, architecture, natural science and other majors in New Zealand universities require applicants to have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above. New Zealand education application requires IELTS score of 7. If the applicant's IELTS score does not meet the requirements, he can go to the Language Institute under the University of New Zealand for language course training. After meeting certain requirements, you can enter the postgraduate stage.
