2020 Portuguese Visa Processing Recovery and Processing Guide

The resumption of Portuguese visa processing has been opened for acceptance: Beijing, Shenyang, Jinan, Chengdu, Kunming, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Fuzhou.

Visa acceptance status:

Beijing, Shenyang, Jinan, Chengdu and Kunming have normal application procedures and do not accept group travel applications.

Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Fuzhou need to send an email to the visa center in advance to make an appointment. Group travel applications are not accepted.

Portuguese visa stipulates that Portugal is a Schengen country. If China citizens only go to Portugal, they can apply for a visa at the China Embassy or Consulate in Portugal. If you go to several Schengen countries at the same time, you should apply to the member country with the longest stay. According to the Schengen visa, visa holders should stay for no more than 90 days at a time, or for no more than 90 days every six months. In principle, visas cannot be extended. Long-term visas exceeding 90 days are issued by Schengen countries.

Portuguese visa materials 1. A complete application form signed by the applicant, with two photos, 3.5x4.5 on a white background, taken recently 12 months;

2. Passport (valid for not less than 3 months after the expiration of the visa to be applied for, and must have at least two blank visa pages) and personal information pages. If you have an extension page and a visa from other countries, you need a copy;

A notarized certificate of China with no criminal record (translated into English or Portuguese) and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China (note: applicants who have stayed in other countries for more than one year must show their proof of no criminal record during their stay);

4. The original household registration book and copies of all pages with contents and English or Portuguese translations;

5. Hotel reservation confirmation form;

6. Proof of the applicant's economic status;

7. Air ticket reservation form;

8. The original and photocopy of medical insurance with a minimum subsistence allowance of 30,000 euros or 300,000 yuan must cover the actual stay time in Schengen District;

9. Public academic certificate/vocational qualification certificate

(translated into English or Portuguese) and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China (visa applicants who seek medical treatment or accompany sick family members abroad for medical treatment do not need to provide this document);
