This policy will be implemented on July 1 1, and the old policy will also apply to those who hold 485 visas or are applying for 485 visas on February 8, 20 10. However, it is worth noting that although occupation nomination is no longer calculated, immigrant applicants must still nominate occupations on the list of skilled occupations (SOL) before they can apply for immigration.
