How to apply for a Greek visa

Greek visa requirements are as follows:

I. Notes on Visa Application

1. Greece is a member of the Schengen Agreement.

2.

Chinese mainland citizens must get a visa in advance when they go to Greece. Ordinary passport holders for personal reasons must apply for a visa in person at the embassies and consulates in China Visa Office.

3.

Holders of Hong Kong or Macao SAR passports can enter Greece visa-free and stay for up to 3 months.

4.

Embassies and consulates in China accepts tourist, business and study visas, and all materials submitted by the applicant must be translated into English or Greek.

5.

When submitting a visa application, the visa applicant should pay the visa fee to the consular department and submit the visa application materials.

6.

Medical insurance for accidental injury covering the whole travel period must be purchased in advance, in which the insurance amount for medical treatment and medical rescue is at least 30,000 euros.

7. If the visa is refused, the visa fee will not be refunded, but you can appeal.

Materials needed to apply for a visa

1. Basic material requirements

1) Fill in the visa application form and sign it by the applicant himself.

2) Two passport photos, 3 x 4 cm (about 1.2

X 1.6 inch).

Valid passport: the passport is valid for at least three months from the date of returning to China; Passport blank pages are not less than two pages; Passports were issued in the last ten years.

Medical insurance is applicable to Schengen countries within the validity period of the visa. The insurance amount is not less than 30,000 euros, including the expenses of emergency medical treatment and medical repatriation.

The consular department reserves the right to request other materials and arrange interviews for visa applicants.
