Science fiction thriller, directed by James McTeigue, produced by Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers. This film is adapted from the comic book Revenge V written by alan moore and David Lloyd. Set in the future London-dystopian society, the scene describes a mysterious figure wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, a freedom fighter V who tries to create social and political changes. Natalie Portman plays Ivy Hammond, Hugo Weaving plays V, Stephen Ray plays Chief Inspector Finch, and john hurt plays Prime Minister chartres. This film is about the future of Britain, when the world was in turmoil (the United States had disintegrated) and Britain was controlled by the dictator Adam Satler (john hurt). The dictatorship he led restricted freedom of speech, controlled public opinion, created panic, imposed a curfew, and the secret police monitored everything of the people like the air. Any immigrant, Muslim, homosexual or infected with the plague will be sent to a concentration camp to die, and the people will dare to speak out and become numb under Sutler's dictatorship.
