I have immigrated to the United States. How can I inherit China's father's property? What is the procedure?
Foreign heirs give up their right to inherit property in China. If they can't return to China in person, they need to go through two procedures: justice and authentication:
1, go to the local notary office in the United States to give up inheritance notarization;
2. Go to the embassy or consulate of China in the United States to go through the certification procedures for notarial certificates;
3. Send the notarial certificate and appraisal certificate back to China by express delivery.
If you can go back to China in person, you can notarize it in China without authentication.
